Camp Dalanda is a multi-day, overnight summer camp for special needs children in Shelby County. The campers typically pay a small fee out of pocket while the camp itself is forced to subsidize the rest and/or find sponsorships. We sponsored every child in 2017, enabling everyone to go to camp free of charge
Leah is a young girl who is diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. For medicinal reasons, her family was forced to move her out of her bedroom upstairs and into an extra room on the first floor. We primed, painted, and decorated her new room to make it feel more like home for her. We also bought her some medical devices to help with day to day life. We later helped organize and run a Poker Run to help raise funds for a service dog.
Faith is our Ohio Ambassador. She is diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, or SMA. Faith has a never-ending positive attitude along with a smile which brightens a room. Faith has always wanted to ride, so we bought her her very own motorcycle. She is the inspiration behind Wheels of Faith.
